Nobel Laureate shares world economic outlook at Lao university
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The National University of Laos’ faculty members, researchers and students as well as professionals in economic policy and economic development benefited from a lecture by Nobel Laureate Finn Erling Kydland last week.
Professor Kydland, who was awarded the 2004 Nobel Prize in Economics, was the third Nobel Laureate invited to the National University of Laos (NUOL) to give a lecture as part of the 7th Asean Event Series with the theme “Bridges – Dialogues towards a Culture of Peace”.
